Belonging & Empowerment

Helping Afrikaner Families Build Strong Roots in a New Land.

At The Afrikaners in Christ Council of America, we don’t just help families resettle—we walk with them as they rebuild lives of purpose, dignity, and contribution in a new homeland.

Our goal is simple but sacred: to ensure every Afrikaner family feels a deep sense of belonging and has the tools to thrive in the United States, without having to sacrifice their identity, language, or values.

We Honour Identity

Afrikaner culture is rich in:

  • Faith and tradition

  • Hard work and craftsmanship

  • Deep love for family and community

  • A proud and storied language

Rather than asking families to erase these roots, we honour and protect them. Belonging is not about assimilation—it’s about feeling safe and free to live out who you truly are.

We Equip for Self-Reliance

Empowerment begins when a family has the tools to stand strong. That’s why we support:

  • Career coaching, job placement, and access to trade certification

  • Financial literacy and guidance on building generational wealth

  • Life skills for navigating American systems with confidence

  • Pathways toward home ownership and long-term stability

  • Education and mentoring for both parents and children

We are raising up builders, entrepreneurs, leaders, and givers.

We Build Community

Our families are never alone. Through a network of:

  • Co-sponsor groups

  • Partner churches

  • Faith-based mentors

  • Children’s and youth programs

...we foster lasting relationships that turn new places into permanent homes of peace.

Belonging is not an emotion—it’s a covenant of welcome

We Measure Impact by Transformation

Every family served is a legacy in motion. We watch as:

  • Parents re-enter the workforce with pride

  • Children thrive in school and church

  • Entire families become givers in their new communities

We do not simply meet needs—we unlock God-given potential.

“You will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
