Standing Against Disinformation

Protecting Truth. Defending Dignity. Upholding Faith.

In an age of social media noise and political distortion, misinformation can damage lives; especially for families already walking through uncertainty and loss. At the Afrikaners in Christ Council of America, we are committed to truth-telling, peace-building, and Christ-centered justice.

What’s the Issue?

Disinformation campaigns often target migrant families—distorting who they are, why they’ve come, and what they seek. Sadly, Afrikaner families have not been spared. Misleading narratives have circulated about their values, their needs, and even their right to safety.

These falsehoods fuel fear and division—and directly hinder families from receiving the support they need to start over in peace.

Why It Matters

Afrikaner families are:

  • People of faith, work ethic, and tradition

  • Contributors to their churches, schools, and communities

  • Committed to building a life rooted in Christian values, safety, and self-reliance

They are not the caricatures presented in online rumors or ideological attacks.

Our Commitment

At ACCA, we counter falsehoods with facts, fear with fellowship, and confusion with compassion. Our work is rooted in:

  • Biblical truth

  • Community witness

  • Peaceful engagement

We believe every family deserves to be seen as God sees them: fully human, fully valued, fully welcome.

How You Can Help

  • Don't share unverified posts about migrant families or immigration.

  • Speak up when you hear dehumanizing or inaccurate claims.

  • Read and share trusted sources about faith-driven migration work.

  • Use discernment: Is what you’re reading sowing truth or stirring fear?

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” —Matthew 5:9
